Clinique Pop Lip Shadow Cushion - Review e Giveaway (english and french versions)

Today I'm going to present you one of the new releases from Clinique, the new Pop Lip Shadow Cushion Matte Lip Powder. I was able to test them for the first time at the Clinique's event in September and now I'm going to tell you everything about them.

Aujourd'hui je vais vous parler d'un nouveau produit de Clinique, le nouveau Pop Lip Shadow Cushion Matte Lip Powder. J'ai pu les tester lors du dernier event de la marque en Septembre et aujourd'hui je vous raconte tout sur ces rouges à lèvres.

First of all let me say that these lipsticks are very innovative, either by packaging or by composition. When it comes to the packaging, these lipsticks are pointed, a little big and they look very elegant. They are very different from what we are used to seeing in terms of packaging and I think that's really important (I love different things)! 

They are made up of two parts as you can see in the photo. The longer part has an anti-bacterial sponge on the tip that allows an easy application and allows to adapt the quantity of product to the desired intensity. At first it seems difficult to apply but once you get the hang of it you do not want anything else. I have a little trick to make the application easier, instead of sliding the sponge, apply it in small beats as if it were a BeautyBlender. You will see that it applies much better the lipstick on your lips. It is not the most precise form but it is undoubtedly the most effective one.

Another thing that I really like in these lipsticks and that I already mentioned above, is the formula innovation. As a professional makeup artist, there is a trick that I learned in the makeup school and that I use all the time that is putting powder on top of the lipstick to fix it and to get a really matte look. And that's why Clinique decided to bring you all this trick from the world of professionals and created a lipstick powder. The idea seems a little weird and I was not quite shore about but the truth is that it works and the formula is very well designed.
The colors are very intense and pigmented and they are easy to apply and to work with. The result  is pretty beautiful and powerful. The lips have a beautiful color which is matte and with a velvety finish due to the powder.

Avant tout, je dois vous dire que ces rouges à lèvres sont innovateurs, soit par leur packaging soit par leur composition. Pour le packaging, ces rouges à lèvres sont grands, pointus et ils ont une touche d'élégance. Ils sont assez différents de ce qu'on a l'habitude de voir et déjà là ils gagnent des points.

Ce rouge à lèvres est composé par deux parties. La partie la plus longue a un embout en éponge anti-bactérien qui facilite l'application et qui permet d'apater la couleur selon vos envies d'intensité. Les deux premières fois ça paraît un peu compliqué pour l'appliquer car la formule et matière ne sont pas du tout comme on a l'habitude, mais une fois compris, on ne veut plus autre chose! J'ai une petite astuce à partager avec vous, au lieu de glisser l'éponge sur les lèvres, faites des petits mouvements en tapotant l'éponge sur les lèvres comme on fait avec la Beauty Blender pour le fond-de-teint. Vous allez voir que c'est bien plus facile. Par contre, je trouve que malgré l'innovation du système, il manque de précision car l'embout est un peu grand pour bien définir le contour des lèvres. 

Par rapport à la formule de ces rouges à lèvres, il faut dire que c'est quelque chose de innovateur. En tant que maquilleuse professionnelle, il y a une petite astuce que j'utilise très souvent (je vous ai sûrement déjà dit ça quelque part) et que j'ai apprise à l'école de maquillage, c'est de mettre de la poudre pressée sur le rouge à lèvres pour le fixer et pour avoir un rendu mate. Et c'est bien pour cela que Clinique a pensé à vous créer ce rouge à lèvres au fini poudré, comme le font les maquilleurs pro! L'idée paraît une peu bizarre au départ et même moi, j'étais un peu réticente à au concept, mais étonnement ça marche bien et la formule a était parfaitement conçue. 

Les couleurs sont intenses, pigmentées et faciles à appliquer et à travailler. Le résultat est beau et vigoureux. Les lèvres ont une jolie couleur et un fini mate presque comme du velours.
