3 Tricks to a Perfect Eyeliner (English and French Versions)

Making a proper eyeliner is the most complicated task in women's lives. Okay. There are worse things, but eyeliner is definitely a task that requires technique, precision and patience. But there are some tricks to help us to get around the dilemma and today I'll tell you 3 easy ways to do it!

First of all let's clarify one thing here, the tape belongs to the office and to various types of manual work but does not belong to the world of make-up and beauty. For the God sake, stop putting tape on the under eye area. The only thing that you are actually doing is ruining your beautiful skin on the most fragile part of your face. I know you've seen lots of bloggers do this trick and I even believe it works for some of you but this cheap trick makes horrors on your skin so stop it please!

Faire un joli trait d'eyeliner est la tâche la plus difficile de la vie d'une femme. Okay, j'exagère, il y a bien pire, mais on est d'accord que pour réussir un trait d'eyeliner comme il se doit, on a besoin de technique, de précision et de patience. Mais il y a certaines astuces pour nous aider à le réussir sans drame et aujourd'hui je vais vous parler de trois de ces techniques simples et utiles! 

Mais avant, il faut qu'on parle de cette fameuse technique, le scotch. Ahhh le scotch, il doit rester au bureau. Ce n'est pas du tout un ustensile de maquillage, donc arrêtez de mettre du scotch sous votre œil. Quand vous faites cela, vous êtes en train d'abîmer votre peau qui est particulièrement fragile à cet endroit.  Je sais que vous avez vu d'autres bloggeuses utiliser cet astuce mais il faut l'oublier.

Coton Swab

• Use it to correct small flaws of the eyeliner;
• If you haven't already done your skin makeup, you can use the tip of the coton swab soaked in the makeup remover to make little corrections;
• If you have already done you skin makeup, you can use concealer to make those corrections;
• If you want a different touch, you can use the cotton swab dry for a smudge effect.

• Utilisez-les pour les petites corrections du trait d'eyeliner; 
• Si vous n'avez pas encore fait votre maquillage du teint, vous pouvez utiliser le coton tige imbibé de produit démaquillant pour faire les corrections; 
• Si vous avez déjà fait le teint, alors vous pouvez utiliser de l'anti cernes pour fair les retouches. 
• Pour une touche différente, utilisez le coton tige sec pour un effet smudge. 

Cotton Pad folded in a Half

• If you want a really beautiful eyeliner and a very symmetrical makeup, this is the best technique;
• Fold the cotton pad in a half so you can have a straight line, and use a good makeup remover;
• Pass the coton in the outer conner of your eye to make a perfect eyeliner;
• If you want it to be symmétrical, you can use the tip of your nose and your eyebrow tail as marks. 
• If you want to use this technique, you should do your eye makeup first and then your skin.

• Si vous voulez vraiment l'eyeliner tiré au maximum et si vous désirez un rendu vraiment symétrique, cette technique vous conviendra parfaitement;
• Il suffit de plier le coton pad en deux de façon à avoir une ligne droite et utilisez un bon démaquillant;
• Passez le coton sur le coin externe de votre œil pour un trait d'eyeliner bien réussi;
• Si vous voulez une ligne bien symétrique, prenez la pointe de votre nez et la queue de votre sourcil comme des repères. Il soufit d'aligner les deux points.
• Dans ce cas, faites d'abord les yeux et après le teint.
