FENTY BEAUTY - The Make-up Brand of the Moment (English and French Review)

When I was in Paris I took a little moment to go to Sephora and to see what's new. Although there are other Sephoras closer to me, Paris is Paris and we know that the variety is different there and I was looking for something in particular. And today I'm going to write you about it, about this new brand which was already considered "the collection of the year" and that shook up the world of makeup! Fenty Beauty, a brand created by the star who needs no introduction, Rihanna. 

I bought three products, a foundation, a blotting powder and a duo highlighter but there are so many more products in this collection. Initially the offer was limited to skin products but meanwhile the brand has also developed eyeshadows palettes and lipsticks.

Quand j'étais à Paris, j'ai fait un petit tour chez Sephora pour voir les nouveautés. Bien qu'il y ait d'autres Sephoras plus proches de moi, Paris c'est Paris et on sait que la variété est différente là-bas et en plus je cherchais quelque chose en particulier. 

Aujourd'hui je vous écris à propos de cette marque qui a déjà été considéré comme "la collection de l'année" et qui a secoué le monde du maquillage! Fenty Beauty, marque créée par la star Rihanna.

J'ai acheté trois produits, un fond-de-teint, une poudre matifiante et un enlumineur, mais il y a beaucoup plus de produits dans cette collection. Initialement, l'offre était limitée aux produits pour la peau, mais des palettes d'ombres à paupières et de rouges à lèvres ont déjà été développées.

In general terms, I think the collection is very well done. The packaging is minimalist and neutral but at the same time Rihanna has created a kind of DNA code through the format of the packaging when they are all together. I don't know how to explain it to you very well but if you want to know more about it, you can visit the brand site here. The prices are reasonable. They are not the cheapest, but they are also far from the most expensive and given the quality, I can accept it.

En général, je pense que la collection est très bien réussie. Les emballages sont minimalistes et neutres, mais Rihanna a quand même créé une sorte de code ADN à travers du format des emballages quand ils sont ensemble. Ils ne sont pas les moins chers, mais ils sont également loin d'être les plus chers et compte tenu de la qualité, je les accepte.

PRO FILT'R SOFT MATTE LONGWEAR FOUNDATION - BY FENTY BEAUTY

This should be one of the best foundations I have ever used. I'm a very difficult person when it comes to foundations, maybe because I have a complicated skin who asks for extra care, but I am complicated. This foundation is fairly fluid, with a coverage that can go from medium to high. I do not believe it works for those looking for that nude effect but the finish is quite natural, luminous and not sticky at all, in fact this foundation dries quickly once applied on the face. You can apply it  beautifully with a sponge or a brush and it does not require a large amount of product to cover the entire face. It's a longwear foundation and you won't see major problems and no major transfers throughout the day. It exists in 40 shades, which allows every woman in the world to have the right tone regardless of her type of carnation.

The only downside? The bottle is glass and has a doser which means there will be a guaranteed waste of product at the bottom of the bottle.

Je pense que c'est l'un des meilleurs fonds-de-teint que j'ai jamais utilisés. Je dois être l'une des personnes les plus compliquées sur le sujet, peut-être parce que j'ai une peau compliquée et qui demande des soins supplémentaires, mais c'est difficile à me convaincre. Ce fond-de-teint est assez fluide, avec une couvrance pouvant aller de moyenne à élevée. Je ne crois pas qu'il fonctionne pour ceux qui recherchent cet effet nude mais la finition est tout à fait naturelle, lumineuse et non collante, en effet le produit sèche rapidement une fois appliqué sur le visage. Il s'applique magnifiquement avec une éponge ou un pinceau et on n'a pas besoin d'une grande quantité pour couvrir l'ensemble du visage. Il dure longtemps sans défaillances majeures et pas de transferts non plus tout au long de la journée. Il existe en 40 tons, ce qui permet à chaque femme du monde d'avoir le bon ton, quel que soit son type de carnation. 

Le seul inconvénient? La bouteille est en verre et il y a un doseur ce qui signifie qu'il y aura un gaspillage de produit garanti au fond de la bouteille.

INVISMATTE BLOTTING POWDER - BY FENTY BEAUTY

This powder serves to matify your face and to fix your foundation. I have mixed feelings about this product. I didn't like using it just right after foundation but I liked to use it for small touches during the day. I think that in a very beautiful and smooth skin it can work well but in problematic skin like mine, I think it doesn't work so well. I think it adds a certain grain to the skin giving it more texture and eventually ruining the beautiful work of the foundation. Anyway, it does not work very well on me but I believe it can works well on other skins.

Cette poudre sert à matifier votre visage et à fixer votre fond-de-teint. J'ai des sentiments mitigés à propos de ce produit. Je n'ai pas aimé l'utiliser tout de suite après le fond-de-teint mais j'ai quand même aimé l'utiliser pour des petites retouches pendant la journée. Je pense que sur une très belle peau bien lisse ce produit peut bien fonctionner mais sur une peau problématique comme la mienne, je pense que ça ne marche pas très bien. Je pense qu'il ajoute un certain grain à la peau en lui donnant plus de texture et en fin de compte ça va ruiner le beau travail du fond-de-teint. En tout cas, ça ne marche pas très bien sur moi mais je crois que ça peut bien marcher sur d'autres peaux.

GOALS! That's what I tell you! This highlighter is just the best I've ever tried! It has a perfect shine, our skin is resplendent and it is easily moldable between a discreet glow and an extraordinary glow. It's easy to apply and perfect for more elaborate make-up! It is divided into two, one side with extra glitter (Hustle Baby) and a softer side with less glitter (Mean Money). I just love it !!

GOALS! C'est ce que je vous dis! Cet enlumineur est juste le meilleur que j'ai jamais testé! Il a un éclat parfait, notre peau est resplendissante et il est facilement modulable entre un glow discret et un glow extraordinaire. C'est facile à appliquer et il est parfait pour un maquillage plus élaboré! Il est divisé en deux, un côté avec beaucoup de paillettes (Hustle Baby) et un côté plus doux avec moins de paillettes (Mean Money). Je l'adore!!
